I provided all editorial services for this publication as well as frequently writing articles myself.  I supervised the production of the newsletter from its earliest stages through its printing run and mail-out to subscribers.  I chose article topics, chose writers for these topics, and did all the content editing, copy editing, and proofreading.  I also worked closely with the desktop publisher on design and layout as well as supervising the printer and mailing house.

As a part-time consultant, I conducted psychological assessments of patients prior to their inclusion in research protocols at the Pain Research Clinic of this institute that is part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

APA-Approved Internship in Clinical Psychology, Veterans Administration Medical Center, Washington, DC, 1981-1982 .  Three 4-month rotations: Pain Control Center, Medical-Surgical Consultation Service; and Inpatient Psychiatry.
